New Life Detoxification

One of the most important parts of our program is the new life detoxification course. It was created to rid the body of all drug residuals and future cravings. The drugs and toxins from long term alcohol and drug abuse are store in the fatty tissue, organs, and cells of the human body. It is almost impossible for any long-term recovery to be successful without the removal of these drugs from the body. Even though the addict is trying to withstand temptation, it is only a matter of time before the stored drug toxins become dislodged and enter into the bloodstream. Once in the blood, the drug toxins enter into the brain and cause drug cravings, withdrawal symptoms, anxiety, and even depression. The individual will continually feel haunted by cravings and not understand their failed attempts at sobriety.

Our body purification uses a unique approach to overcoming this obstacle. We flush out built up drug residue, radiation, and many other harmful toxins stored the body’s cells using supplements and sauna treatments. The sauna gives the individual a clean, healthy body. From this point, the person can begin working toward a healthy overall recovery based on a solid physical foundation.

Research has established that both pharmaceutical and so-called recreational drugs can remain in the body for an extended period of time. While drugs and their metabolites quickly become undetectable in blood and urine, some as rapidly as 3 days after last usage, drug metabolites remain stored in fatty tissues for years. Drugs such as cocaine, meth, and marijuana are found in fat and can remain in the body for a very long time.

Marijuana can be found in urine up to 77 days after it was last used. While cocaine is generally considered to be a rapidly metabolized drug, studies of cocaine users show that un-metabolized cocaine is found 5-10 days after the last use of the drug. When fats are mobilized during times of stress or hunger the drug residuals are also mobilized and enter into the bloodstream.

These drug residuals can trigger cravings that are almost impossible to resist. Hence, relapse occurs. The accumulated drug residues ability to cause adverse symptoms led L. Ron Hubbard to develop a program aimed at reducing levels of toxins in the body to assist in recovery.

The New Life Detoxification Program utilizes a combination of exercise, induced sweating in a sauna, and nutritional supplements to produce the following results:

Reduction or elimination of drug and alcohol cravings
Reduction or elimination of many symptoms associated with drug addiction and alcoholism. These can include depression, irritability, and fatigue
Ability to think more clearly
Improved memory and attention span
Increased energy
Increased sense of well being
Enthusiasm toward Life

The purpose of the New Life Detoxification Program is to purge the body of drug residues through an exact regime that consists of the following:

Exercise, preferably running, to stimulate circulation
Prescribed periods in a low temperature sauna to promote sweating
An exact regime of vitamin, mineral, and oil intake
Sufficient liquids to offset the loss of body fluids through sweating
Regular diet supplemented with plenty of fresh vegetables which are not overcooked
A properly ordered personal schedule, which provides the person with the normally required amount of sleep
(This is an intensive program and, as such, requires physician approval to participate.)

The Narconon detoxification program has resulted in astonishing improvement in clients. They consistently report increased mental clarity, greater energy, and greater awareness of their surroundings. They experience an increased feeling of general well being following the program. They are now past the physical discomforts associated with addiction and are ready for the cognitive aspects of the program.
